Summer day gratitude~

I don’t have much to share today other than to say that this is just one of those rare summer days in which everything is prayer. God’s kingdom on earth, from coffee, scrambled eggs and bagel to reading and resting with my feet up. Even my granddog Scuppers joins me in being “Very grateful!”

I have been really reflective the last two days with this lovely weather. I was able to read on the deck yesterday morning while Gordie took a nap after flying in on the red eye. So wonderful to get two hugs and a chat with him having not seen him since Feb!! Am reading Lacuna and actually enjoying it. Am also reading The Zen of Jesus....so interesting.....A.

How wonderful to have near and dear resting under our roof, especially when they are all grown up. And reading out on the deck. We have to be 'very grateful.'
I couldn't get through Lacuna but just finished 'Flight Behavior' and loved it.
