Her husband, their children and grandchildren, her many siblings and friends will miss this salt-of-the-earth lady. But it is for my cousin, who has become more and more forgetful over the past few years, that I direct my prayers, that I ask God to be with him.
I’m also praying for a way to attend her funeral next weekend. How to make the eight-hundred mile trip is a challenge. Maybe God will show me a way. Maybe God will tell me to stay home.
