God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:9,10.
As I listen to Br. Keith I am startled by his comment that God’s grace is present all the time, not just when I feel it or am conscious of it. I am amazed to realize that I have believed that I had to be aware of God’s grace at work within me in order for it to be true or real.My prayer is that this surprising and crucial revelation will help me to stop pleading with God to show me God’s self in a way that Iwant God to be, and to stop creating God in my own image.
