So, “Let us attend!” - I say to all my senses today, that I may be open to whatever God has to teach me today, through the people, situations, and anything else He brings my way.
for me, personally, voting is a deeply moral act—a decisive statement of Christian faith that I matter, that justice matters, and that other people matter.
Dear God, give me the strength to navigate these anxious feelings I'm having about the world around me. Help me to know that I have everything I need within me to make it through. Amen.

Contemplate how you are being asked to give your heart to God amidst your everyday activities.
Elizabeth Ann Seton
It is only in prayer that we can communicate with one another at the deepest level of our being.
Bede Griffiths (1906-1993)
The reminder that seeking God in the silence results in a sending out into the world helps us to understand contemplation and action as two sides of the same coin, rather than two separate and alternative, streams of Christian calling. Likewise, that Christian activity without prayer is just a rootless echo of society’s culture of over-busyness.
