|A Prayer Diary||
Christ is the man who in the most revealing way made clear that prayer means sharing in the power of God.
If a man in this night lets his spirit get carried away with fear or impatience and anxiety, he will come to a standstill.
No matter how it appears or feels, nothing in our lives ever occurs outside the reach and watch of God. Our task is to remain ever open to God’s relentless grace that never gives out and never gives up.
If you dare to say ‘yes’ to the prompting of God’s Spirit in your heart, if you follow where God seems to be calling you, you won’t be spared trials and hardships along the way, but you will discover what it is to be alive, truly alive in Christ.

Anne Morrow Lindbergh
To live eternally in spiritual union with Christ is the ultimate longing, and without at least the promise of such a union is the ultimate loneliness.
James E. Loder
We pray to God because He has too much to answer for to be allowed simply to disappear, because we have to protest against Him as well as to Him, and because the only alternative is despair, or silence.
Celtic Daily Prayer
Nothing among human things has such power to keep our gaze fixed ever more intensely upon God than friendship.
