|A Prayer Diary||
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, of famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
For the kingdom of God is not food or drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Owe one another nothing, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
For by grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
We know that ll things work together for the good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I do. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I that do it, but sin that dwells within me.
Word and Image
offers two parts of my morning ritual, scripture and visual art. I make no
attempt to related the two (as I do in my daily quote and blog entries) and
yet, sometimes that will happen, for as we know God works in mysterious ways.
