He also said, “With what can we compare the Kingdom of God, or what parable will we use for it? It is like a mustard seed….”
And Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fish for people.” And immediately they left their nets and followed him.
He strictly ordered them that no-one should know this, and told them to give her something to eat.
He said to them, “Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while. For many were coming and then had no leisure to eat.”
So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
Jesus said to him, “All things can be done for the one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out, “I believe; help my unbelief.”
Then Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “My teacher, let me see again.”
Then those who went ahead and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
Word and Image
offers two parts of my morning ritual, scripture and visual art. I make no
attempt to related the two (as I do in my daily quote and blog entries) and
yet, sometimes that will happen, for as we know God works in mysterious ways.
