|A Prayer Diary||
And all of you must clothe yourselves with humility in your deals with one another for “God opposes the proud but give grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5
The Lord rewards everyone for his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the Lord gave you into my hand today but I would not raise my hand against the Lord’s anointed.
1 Samuel 26:23
So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
Love the Lord, all you his saints. The Lord preserves the faithful but abundantly repays the one who acts haughtily.
Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
Avoid profane chatter, for it will lead people into more and more impiety, and their talk will spread line gangrene.
2 Timothy 2:16,17a
You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no good for anything, but is thrown out and crumpled on on under foot.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.
Word and Image
offers two parts of my morning ritual, scripture and visual art. I make no
attempt to related the two (as I do in my daily quote and blog entries) and
yet, sometimes that will happen, for as we know God works in mysterious ways.
